For one night only, Larry Owens is hosting a party on the stage of Toronto’s Alumnae Theatre. Larry promises celebrity characters will to stop by and you KNOW Larry will be providing lots of party music. Join multi-talented comedian Larry Owens on this nonstop comedic tour-de-force through the worlds of celebrity, pop culture, defeating patriarchy, and queer liberation!

Larry is a performer, writer, director, and comedian residing in New York City. He is a staff writer on the upcoming TruTV show PAID OFF, where the winner of each show will receive full student loan debt relief. Larry recently completed his first feature film, TO DUST, opposite Matthew Broderick. Named one of TimeOut NY’s “comedians we’re obsessed with”, Larry studied drama and improvisation at the School at Steppenwolf.

The We’re Funny That Way Festival is a fundraiser for the We’re Funny That Way Foundation which aims to give transformational gifts to queer charities across Canada.  This year we are providing funds to Rainbow Railroad an organization that helps LGBTQ people to escape persecution and violence.  For more information on this amazing organization go here .
